R.B. Bhaskaran: He was studied advanced painting at Govt of Arts and Craft, Chennai. Following which he studied Fresco painting from Rajasthan and Intaglio Printing, Lithography and Ceramic in Israel under a UNESCO scholarship. He then did his PG in Print Making from England. He was also awarded Fellowship by the Dept of Culture Govt. of India Ministry of Education. The artist is known for his strong lines and has equal proficiency in all the mediums. His cat images are ever popular and capture gracefully the feline family with an élan. The artist has had several solo and group shows in India and abroad and his works are in the collection of galleries across the globe as well as corporate houses and private buyers.
