Gurcharan Singh: He was born in 1949 at Patiala, Punjab, completed his five year course in the Applied Arts from Government College of Arts and Crafts , Chandigarh in 1973.He has participated in several group and solo shows in India abroad. He was the recipient of very honoured awards given to him by the Lalit kala academy and went on to receive the Sanskriti award in 1982 and the New Delhi national Award 1976.He has his works in various collections in India and abroad. He presently resides and works from Mumbai.
