Avijit Dutta: A Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Rabindra Bharati University Kolkata the artist believes ‘temptation of life never stops’ which he has expressed eloquently in his ‘Lavanya Series’. The artist is known for his tempera work, where the pigment is mixed with water-soluble glutinous materials. Tempera's particular advantage is that clear, pure colors are produced, which are not subject oxidation as are oils. The artist uses this technique in his unique style. The artist has exhibited extensively in India and abroad and his works are in the collection of several private buyers all over the world. He also has several awards to his credit.
