Alphonso Doss: He was born 1939 in Bangalore, South India. He graduated from Government College of Arts and Crafts, Chennai. He was the Principal of government College of Arts and Crafts, Chennai from 1992to 1997. Some of the Awards and Honours he received are National Academy Award – New Delhi Kalidasa Exhibition Gold Medial – Bhopal, M.P. He has participated in many one man shows within India and abroad. Mr. Alphonso Doss resides and paints at Chennai, India.
