K.M. Adimoolam: Born in 1938, Tamilnadu. Graduated from Government College of Art & Crafts, Chennai. He has held several solo shows and group shows in India and abroad. They include the Sixth Triennale, New Delhi in 1986, 19th Sao Paulo Biennal Brazil in 1987, RIMBAUD 91 at The Alliance Francaise de Madras at Chennai and France in 1991. Maya Gallery at Hong Kong in 1995 and 1999 to name a few. He won many state awards in Chennai, Bangalore and Mumbai including National award, New Delhi. He has attended several artist camps and has executed murals commissioned by Corporate houses and hotels. As a Jury Member for the National Exhibition of Art (1986). As Commissioner for Indian section. In Third Ankara Biennial, Turkey (1990). As Convener for “Drawing India – 91 exhibition by Lalit Kala Akademy New Delhi (1991). As Jury member for Bombay Art Society’s annual All India Art Exhibition (1992). As one man jury for the National Exhibition of Art – New Delhi (1993).,
